The beautiful Asturian beaches of Rodilles and Playa Griega are only a 30 minute drive away. The cities of Oviedo and Gijon are only a 40 minute drive away. The surrounding countryside is dotted with small villages and hamlets and is ideal for touring, walking and cycling. The region is known for its cider and a cider festival is held every other year in July in the nearby village of Nava.

The house is conveniently located for visits to the National Parks of Redes, Sueve and the Picos and the lovely towns of Villaviciosa, Colunga and Ribadesella.
