Country house in Pintueles, a small hamlet in the Piloña area of Asturias. Originally an 18th century farmhouse, it has been sympathetically restored by its current owners. It is situated down a quiet country lane and has lovely views down the Cayan Valley and foothills of the Picos de Europa.

On the ground floor there is a large comfortable sitting room, a formal dining room and fully equipped kitchen. From the sitting room, doors lead out to a typical Asturian porch where you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

On the first floor are 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a lounge/library and a typical Asturian gallery stretching the length of floor.

Area Information:
The beautiful Asturian beaches of Rodilles and Playa Griega are only a 30 minute drive away. The cities of Oviedo and Gijon are only a 40 minute drive away. The surrounding countryside is dotted with small villages and hamlets and is ideal for touring, walking and cycling. The region is known for its cider and a cider festival is held every other year in July in the nearby village of Nava.

It is conveniently located for visits to the National Parks of Redes, Sueve and the Picos and the lovely towns of Villaviciosa, Colunga and Ribadesella.
