This house in the unique medieval town of Setenil de las Bodegas. Set in rolling unspoilt hills in the province of Cadiz and near the historic towns of Ronda and Olvera, it is ideally placed for country rambling, bird watching or just enjoying one of the few remaining unspoilt white villages of Andalucia. Living & dining: Lounge/dining room is tastefully decorated in Spanish style. Sofa converts to small double bed to accommodate a third guest. Small TV for Spanish stations and video with a selection of English videos. A music centre and CDs provided. Great views. Kitchen: Small but fully fitted kitchen including hob, fridge, microwave/grill, toaster and kettle plus all cutlery and crockery for up to 4 persons. Bedroom: One spacious bedroom with comfortable twin beds. Bathroom: New fully tiled walk-in shower bathroom off bedroom, washbasin and WC. Hairdryer. Separate WC off lounge. Utility Room: In the separate cloakroom off lounge there is a washing machine and dryer plus ironing board and iron. Other: Provided is a small folding table and 2 folding chairs which can be used outside for evening cocktails etc. All linen and towels are provided (full sets of towels provided for each person). Welcome food package provided on arrival. AREA Setenil de las Bodegas is another of the pueblos blancos (white villages) of southern Spain and is about a 20 minute drive from the town of Ronda. The village emerged out of a series of caves in cliffs above the rio Tejo northwest of Ronda. It has been inhabited since at least the 12th century and given its proximity to other caves known to have cave-dwelling societies, it is likely that there may have been a civilization there much earlier.
